Because some things do pay off when you set your heart into it


You got that right! I got my Starbucks 2011 planner already! I got it faster this year compared to last year as SB is conveniently located right outside our office. But I was able to complete it faster thanks to a friend who gave some of his stickers to me. :)

In terms of design, I like this year's more than last year's. Although, what's not so good about this year's is the number of errors it has, like it has not been proofread or something (of course I have a say in this, since I currently work as a Quality Assurance Specialist). I actually had my original planner replaced because some of the pages got jumbled. And if you notice, the first coupon's validity is supposed to be Oct 1-31, 2011, not 2010 (go check it now).

But despite that, overall, it's pretty much, well, better. Hoping to fill it up with many memories and "stories to tell."

A Date with The Phantom

Sister date. :) Since I was in college, when I first watched the movie adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera, I had already fallen in love with it, to the point where I watched it over and over until I memorized every dialogue and note of the whole play. A Thing or Two I Learned During My First Taping Experience

Second to the last sequence of the day. Clearly, I did not know what I signed up for when I agreed to play a 'minor role' in a Maalaala Mo Kaya Episode. A friend texted me if I wanted to become an 'extra/talent' for an MMK episode. Perhaps the reason why I did not have apprehensions and immediately said 'yes' was because of the magic word: 'Piolo'. Heck, I didn't even ask where the location would be and how much I will be paid for! Piolo Pascual, albeit suspicions of his sexuality, has been my showbiz crush for the longest time, and doing a scene with him was a dream come true. I was told that the PA will contact me regarding the call time and the wardrobe for the said shoot.
