A Lesson on Characterization

I just have to jot this down before my short-term memory loss kicks in. This is too important for me to forget.

-----------

Last night, during practice at Rep, our teacher gave us a workshop on understanding our character, his objectives, backstory and intention.

"Remember that your character is a 3-dimensional human being. If you get too engrossed in blockings, you will end up treating your character as a puppet."
He also gave us a workshop on how to react naturally to stimuli and to relate with co-actors.
